Bridge Accident Bijanbari

An old wooden bridge at Bijanbari broke down beacause of heavy load.around 300 people were passing through the bridge to attain a cultural program that was been organised by the Gorkha Janamukti Morcha accross the bridge. 41 people died and 196 are severly injured.The victims were taken to Bijanbari Rural Hospital and few were taken to District Hospital Darjeeling.Few people are still missing.

Mirik

Mirik is a beautiful tourist destination at an elevation of 1495 m (4904 ft).in the district of Darjeeling,West Bengal.Mirik got its name from Lepcha word [Lepcha-a tribal community from the hills and few other areas]  'Mir-Yok' meaning "place burnt by fire".Sumendu lake is the center of attraction for Mirik which is surrounded by Pine trees and beautiful  gardens.There is a beautiful road of 3.5 km long that encircles the garden and is used for walks where one can view the glowing Kanchenjunga on the far horizon.

5000 "Junior Constable"(M/ F)in West Bengal Police

Application are invited  from West Bengal Police(WBP) for the post of Junior Constable (Males and Females) in the Left Wing Extremist affected areas in the districts of Paschim Medinipur, Bankura and Purulia and approval for filling up of the said vacant posts of Junior Constable in West Bengal Police by making recruitment's from the permanent residents of the Left Wing Extremists affected areas of the three aforesaid districts. The recruitment will be made through the Special Recruitment Boards constituted under the supervisionof the West Bengal Police:Recruitment Board as per Recruitment Rules enclosed.

नेपाली जाती अनि स्ंस्कृती को आधार मा भनिन्छ कि वर्समा एक पल्ट जमिन देखी खुट्टा हटाउन पर्छ रे,यही भनाई ले गर्द हामी माझ लिङ्गे पिङ प्रचलित छ ।चार पटी बांस को खम्बा गाडेर सिर मा लालु पाते अनि सयपत्री को फुल चडाएर यसको थालनी गरिन्छ । 
लिङ्गे पिङ बीसेस गरी चाड्-बाड्को बेला मा बनाउने गरिन्छ जस्तै दसै ।
